certifi V2 takes the same programme model - level, category, use case, step - and carries it across NDC versions, airline groups and approval workflows, with the evidence to show for every decision.

Multi-version NDC

17.2, 21.3 and 24.x side by side

Each application is registered on its NDC version, and the airline chooses which versions it accepts. A use case or a single step can run on another allowed version, the version is detected on upload, and every submission is checked against that version's schemas.

Cross-message validation

The flow, not just the message

Checks that compare the messages of one flow with each other: identifiers carried from shopping through to the order, amounts and currency, passenger and segment counts, and order state transitions. Enabled per use case, so a flow that is valid by design is never re-judged.

Configured rules

Written, tested, reviewed

A rules editor where the airline writes a check, tests it against a sample message and sends it through review before it goes live, with history and a diff for every change. Airline groups keep one group rule and a carrier overlay that shows only the difference.

Workflow and approval gates

Stages, gates, four-eyes

Stages defined per consumer type, approval gates with roles, four-eyes review and carrier sign-off, and finding waivers with a reason attached. Partners follow their own stage tracker; the airline works from a gate queue.

Evidence packages

Hand it to an auditor

Every verdict is an immutable decision record. Download an evidence package with a manifest and SHA-256 per file, or a PDF certification report per application. Resetting an organisation archives its progress rather than deleting it.

Scenario runs and CI/CD

Certification in the pipeline

Run a whole use case from the tool, from a CI/CD pipeline with JUnit output, or from an AI assistant, with an end-to-end trace under one correlation id. Partners can build against recorded, schema-valid sandbox responses before the airline's test system is open to them.

Recertification and migration

Ready for the next version

A readiness score per organisation and application, impact analysis for a schema or rule change, side-by-side version comparison and a migration plan per application - plus campaigns that tell every affected partner what to re-run.

Compliance attestations

On file, in date, gating the level

Partners upload their compliance attestation, such as a PCI DSS attestation of compliance, or declare an exemption. The airline reviews it, a level can require it before its certificate is issued, and expiry is tracked with reminders.

Governed AI assistance

Explain, analyse, propose

"Explain this result" on a failed step, root-cause analysis across every partner's failures, and proposed rule changes when a schema or document changes. Provider, keys and spending caps are set per airline, and every AI call is audited.

Multi-carrier airline groups

One programme, several carriers

An airline group certifies its partners for each of its marketing carriers - its own and its partners'. Each application holds the carriers it is certified for, each use case the carriers it applies to, and certificates name them.

Registration, import, invitations

A registration approval queue with organisation identifiers, bulk import of an existing partner register and the certifications it already holds, and team invitations with a chosen certification role.

Health and readiness endpoints, availability and error-rate monitoring with alerts, an audit trail for every change, notifications by email and Teams, and a permission matrix per role with single sign-on through OpenID Connect.

Multi-version NDC

Every certification knows its NDC version

The NDC version travels with the application and shows everywhere a result does: the certification manager, the capability matrix, certificates, reports and the APIs, all filterable by version.

A partner moving from 21.3 to 24.1 can certify the new flows on the new version while the rest of the application stays where it is - and the airline can see exactly which version each result was earned on.

Compliance attestations

A level can wait for the paperwork

A level can require an attestation on file before its certificate is issued. The partner sees why the certificate is withheld and uploads the document, or declares an exemption, from the same screen.

certifi records the attestation and tracks its expiry. It never assesses compliance itself - the wording throughout is "attestation on file".

Recertification

The next NDC version, planned rather than discovered

Every organisation and application has a readiness score; impact analysis lists what a schema or rule change touches; a version comparison shows a scenario on both versions; and a migration plan tells each partner exactly what to re-run.

A campaign then reaches every affected application at once, and progress comes back into the same view.
